Ranger 1850MS ReataAs Ranger® Boat’s newest addition to the acclaimed Reata® line, the 1850MS delivers a multipurpose watercraft to fit a family’s full day on the water. This configurable and versatile boat is ideal for serious fishing, water sports or pleasure cruising and offers unparalleled performance and features.

Measuring 18 feet, 10 inches, and boasting an ultra-stable 100-inch beam, the Ranger 1850MS Reata is rated for 175 horsepower and is available with a variety of precision-matched outboards. The innovative design and feature set draws inspiration from what’s become one of Ranger’s most popular packages over the last several years, replacing the celebrated 1850LS. A fully redesigned interior, console and dash layout give the new 1850MS even more ability to accommodate a family with a wide range of on-the-water interests and activities.

“Year in and year out, the 1850 has been one of our most popular models in the entire lineup,” said Ranger Sales Manager Mark Zwicker. “The versatility the boat makes it the ideal choice for a family that doesn’t want to compromise when it comes to spending time on the water. The new features and updates found in the 1850MS is without a doubt the best iteration yet.”

A family out for a day of water sports will have access to seating for six, taking advantage of the spacious cockpit and redesigned rear jump seats. Water skis can be stowed in the center compartment that doubles as rod storage with a built-in organizer for rods up to seven feet in length. More storage in the port side gunnel offers space for additional rods.

The new 1850MS utilizes virtually every inch of available space to organize gear and equipment and ensure a clean deck. The acclaimed folding front deck extension can be deployed to create a full casting platform for fishing or stowed to accommodate a comfortable lounge area. Two storage compartments, an aerated baitwell and insulated cooler sit beneath the front deck for quick and easy access and provide more flexibility to maximize time on the water.

The all-new console and dash layout offer the space to flush mount up to 12-inch electronics and come outfitted with factory installed, multi-function gauges. The passenger console holds a Bluetooth ready Infinity stereo and features a large glove box for personal items with integrated tackle storage located underneath.

The new 1850MS also includes updated aesthetics with raised style lines built into the hull and new color-matched side panels on the cockpit’s interior, further highlighting the boat’s exceptional fit and feel. Integrated bow navigation lights are also built into the gunnel providing greater dependability and peace of mind.
Chrome cup holders and tool storage accompany the redesigned rear jump seats, which can be folded up for access to additional storage compartments. When folded down, the seats combine with the rest of the rear deck to serve as a full casting platform. The rear deck also offers additional dry storage complete with a stainless steel boarding ladder and integrated rod holders at the stern for hands-off fishing and trolling.

The 1850MS comes paired with a custom-built, single-axle Ranger Trail® trailer. Designed to perfectly match the boat for smooth, easy towing and maneuvering, the Ranger Trail trailer is equipped with a Road Armor finish, LED lights, aluminum wheels and a COOL Hub® lubrication system as standard equipment. Further equipped with torsion axle suspension, swing away tongue, full-size spare and matching fiberglass fenders, the 1850MS’s Ranger Trail trailer delivers remarkable peace of mind when trailering and complements the striking good looks of the boat.
