Neal Leier of Bismarck caught a walleye just this morning that broke a record set in 1959 by a single ounce. Leier brought in a 15-pound, 13-ounce, and 32 and 1/2 inch walleye from the Missouri River near Fox Island. The old record was held by Blair Chapman of Minnewauken with a walleye caught on Wood Lake in 1959.
