“Living out in the country provides an abundance of opportunities to closely observe many wildlife happenings,” says Smith. “Each day, one can view a new and unique experience in the animal kingdom. For this reason, I keep my camera ready for immediate action by resting it on a table by the front window. On this particular spring day, when many flowers were blooming throughout the yard, a cute squirrel seemed captivated with the new blossoms. Having the camera easily within reach afforded me the opportunity to record the squirrel’s enchantment with the vibrant budding.”
