Greg Hackney has made a career as one of the most consistent anglers in the history of the sport of tournament bass fishing. He has amassed Angler of the Year titles and several event wins. Most of his success has come by way of targeting fish in and around shallow cover. We have even designed a line of “Hack Attack Heavy Cover” baits that are made for this application. The latest project between the design team at Strike King and Hackney is the all-new Hack Attack Fluorocarbon Flipping Jig!

“Our existing hack Attack Flipping Jig features a monster hook that basically requires the use of braid. But there are times when I need a flipping jig for use in clearer water where I would prefer fluorocarbon over braided line. This new jig is the deal for that situation. I believe it will be the answer to a lot of jig fishermen’s needs” says Greg Hackney, 14-Time Bassmaster Classic Qualifier.

“We made countless modifications to get this jig to a point we thought was perfect. We made it compact in size. It has a zero-degree line tie which greatly increases the hookup percentage. It is extremely weedless. And, it’s built around a 4.5/0 custom siwash hook. This jig will be a game changer” Hackney proclaims.

The Hack Attack Fluorocarbon Flipping Jig is available in 3/8, ½ and ¾ sizes and 12 Hackney-approved colors. Look for it at retailers and in the mouths of big bass starting in the fall of 2017!
