“I love Folly Beach,” says Chakraborty. “It’s the best place to watch both sunrise and beach activities. I wanted to capture the mood of the setting sun and the color of the sky over the water. The beach has dead driftwood that gets flooded during high tide. It makes a photographer’s landmark on the beach. Nature has been mesmerizing. I used an 8-stop ND to freeze the wave.”
