Congratulations to Andries Alberts for winning the recent Pick a Color Assignment with the image, “Giraffe Silhouette – Out of Red Dust and Smoke they came.”
Taken in Namibia, southwest Africa, Alberts describes the image, “A trio of South African giraffe walk out onto an open plain under a cloud of mystic and brilliant red smoke and dust at sunset. This time of the year, wildfire smoke fills the air and captures light particles, especially at sunset.”
