squirrels go down with the little .410 shotgun

Is a .410 shotgun too small for squirrel hunting?

Well, this guy isn’t having any problems.

After watching this hunter make easy work of squirrels with a .410 shotgun, you may want to try one yourself.

Watch the video below:

Squirrel hunting with a shotgun has been a time-proven means of filling the crockpot. Many hunters use 12-gauge or 20-gauge shotguns, but a select group uses the smaller .410.

While .410 shooters have less range than the big boys, it can still do a number on a target from shorter distances.

YouTube channel Wild 4 the Outdoors TV is quite a fan of the vintage Sears bolt-action .410 shotgun.

Because these shotguns are typically lighter in weight, they can be very effective for training young shooters. Seasoned woodsmen love the lighter pocket of shells the challenge of shooting with a smaller spread.
