In partnership with the ACA, Bass Pro Shops Collegiate Bass Fishing Series, Garmin International, Inc., is seeking to add four new collegiate anglers to fill the Garmin College Team for the 2019 tournament season. Garmin created this opportunity for collegiate anglers two years ago with the hopes of allowing college anglers a chance to be apart of a sponsored team.
Garmin will offer new anglers to the team $1,000 in product and a 45% discount on an additional order of Garmin Marine electronics. Returning anglers to the team will receive $500 in product and a 45% discount on one order of Garmin Marine electronics. In addition, each collegiate angler will receive Garmin swag (hats, shirts, decals) for the season.
The opportunity to apply for one of the four available positions will be January 11th through January 17th. The four anglers will be chosen January 21st following the deadline.
2019 Requirements:
- College angler must have a boat
- Post twice a month on social media platforms promoting Garmin electronics
- Display Garmin decals on boats and vehicles that will be going to tournaments
- Garmin logo must be visible on college jersey
- Each team must fish a total of three college fishing events during 2019 to include a minimum of one Bass Pro Shops Collegiate Bass Fishing Series events during 2019.
At the end of the 2019 season, a review will be held to evaluate anglers on performance and execution of requirements to continue on with the team for following seasons. If signed for the following year, the angler will receive $500 in product and another order for 45% off, as well as other promotional opportunities.

Garmin Grand Giveaway is still an opportunity with being a part of the Garmin team. If team wins an event with the contingency of the Garmin Grand, they will receive the $1,000 payout.
