The heart shot: it’s what every hunter strives for and here’s why.
This is a good shot for two reasons. First it was an excellent heart shot with a fast kill, and second, the hunter chose a flat-top.
Culling the does from the herd is a necessity, and when it’s done in this fashion it’s all the better.

When it comes time to hunt our favorite quarry, this has to be shown as a reminder of how important it is to take what nature offers us. Many in the hunting community believe harvesting a doe is the most important thing in deer hunting.
One thing I know for sure is they taste great! Keep hunting that big buck, but when the chance arises, tag a fat doe and you’ll be just as happy.
