Zebra Mussels will attach to any hard, solid substrate in lakes. In this video, you’ll see how they colonize a boat dock. When inspecting docks, be sure to check the dock posts, especially the side that receives the most shade. Chains and cables used to anchor swim platforms are also magnets for zebra mussels.
