In case you haven’t seen or heard, it’s bow launch season, people!
Every year bowhunters await the next big thing in archery, with flagship bows falling from trees like leaves in the fall breeze.
Hoyt launched their bow last week with Bear and PSE releasing theirs on social media earlier this fall, but nothing about these launches really stood out.
Today, however, Bowtech announced what looks like a live video circus event with a bow launch wrapped up in the middle of it all.
Bowtech’s 2018 flagship announcement promises live hunts starting today with audience participation via real-time polls. They claim viewers can interact with the hunts, even helping choose which animals they pursue on camera each day. That’s something I’ve never seen on any outdoor TV program and I want in, especially if the Heartland Bowhunter crew is involved!
The Bowtech Archery Instagram account already has a few Stories with updates from the hunters earlier this morning.
During the event on November 8, 2017, it states they will reveal the bow, conduct a Q&A with the audience, and give a bow away for free, all before revealing it in media or on their website.
The sign up form says you will get an email and text message to the exclusive video link to tune in.
Bowtech started doing a ton of live video production last year and doesn’t seem to be slowing down. They produce over four hours of live video a week with some of the best Q&A sessions on topics for bowhunters. Bringing live hunts to the table ups the game for everyone in the hunting industry. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out.
You can RSVP to the event at BowtechArchery.com/flagship.
The Reign 6 took the Bow Of The Year badge in 2017, so the 2018 flagship has a lot to live up to. Just like the rest of the outdoor industry product launches, apparently.
