My thoughts are turning more and more towards ice-fishing, and if your thoughts are the same, you will love this. . . . I found this TV news report on the interwebs. . . .
How did that guy end up in Oklahoma? OKLAHOMA???? Of all places! I would tell you he has to have been from someplace north of Oklahoma originally, but he has the Oklahoma accent! At the least, he needed to travel “up nort” during the ice-fishing “season” to get some ideas for his house. Don’t need no stinkin’ 4-foot hole, don’t need no stinkin’ long rods!
Nah, I do not think the guy is crazy one bit. I think he is genius!
He could have used some consultation from a fish biologist on the construction of his pond, however.
I have often said there is only one thing I know for sure about fish and fishing: That is you cannot catch anything sitting at home on the couch. I guess if you build a house like that, or put a couch in your ice-fishing shelter, then maybe I do not even know that for sure.
Reminds me of this old commercial:
Nah, I do know one thing for sure. It is the weekend, get off the couch, GO FISH, GO HUNT!
