Doe and yearling fawn poached in Custer County.
The Oklahoma Game Wardens are again turning to the public for help in generating leads on a poaching incident.
This time it is the poaching of two deer, a doe and a yearling fawn, in Custer County near the intersection of County Roads N2150 and E0910.
The location is about five miles north of the town of Butler. Approximately five shots were fired around 11-11:15 p.m. on June 20.
Wardens shared photos of the aftermath of the incident and a map of where it happened. It appears the poachers left the animals to rot.
Anyone who knows anything about this crime is being encouraged to contact Warden Clint Carpenter at 580-695-3642.
