Today’s Photo Of The Day is “Huangshan Magic” by Bill Sisson. Location: Huangshan Mountains, China.
“My wife and I hiked in the Huangshan Mountains in China,” says Sisson. “Relatively few westerners visit these mountains, which are famous in China for their steep granite peaks and cloud formations. They are also the subject of many traditional Chinese landscape drawings. While we were there, I scampered up to a viewpoint overlooking the edge of the mountains to see the sunset. A magical scene of undercast clouds flowing around adjacent peaks greeted me as the last rays of the setting sun touched the summits.”
