Rocky boots are bringing back their classic Cornstalker line.
In the market for a new pair of hunting boots next season? You might want to look at the new Rocky Cornstalkers NXT.
Rocky boots announced they are releasing five versions of the NXT line to fit a variety of hunting styles. They are making both lace-up boots and a pull-on style. These boots have breathable Gore-Tex waterproof material built in for those soggy areas. The main part of the boot is made from 1680 denier Cordura. Tough hunting boots made for the roughest conditions.
The cushion footbed is the signature Rocky Energy Bed for extra comfort on your feet. Which is important when you’ve got a long hike to your stand or into the backcountry. Insulation varies by model. Their brown leather and Mossy Oak Bottomlands pull-on boots are uninsulated.
Their brown hunting boots are offered in a full-grain leather lace-up style. Those boots and the Realtree Timber camo pattern boots will have 400 grams of 3M Thinsulate Ultra Insulation.
If you need a little more warmth in your outdoor boot, the Realtree Edge pattern features 800 grams of insulation to keep your toes toasty on even the frostiest of days.
For outsoles, the new Rocky Cornstalker boots are using a lightweight rubber designed to release dirt materials. Rocky says the Bon welt construction will add flexibility to this outsole design, which is vital if you’re a hiker that likes to go a considerable distance over rough, rocky terrain in search of that big buck or bull. Especially if you’re toting a heavy rifle and backpack full of gear.
According to product specs on Rocky’s website, these boots only weight about two pounds, meaning they’re the ideal light footwear for long treks in the wilderness.
These new Cornstalker boots add even more options and versatility to Rocky’s already extensive line of work boots, hunting and hiking boots. The new Cornstalkers will have an MRSP that ranges from $190 to $220 depending upon the model. See Rockyboots.com for more information.
