SITKA Gear is set to debut what it calls “category-defining” waterfowl waders at this year’s SHOT Show. This is your chance to get a first look.
SITKA Gear is excited to announce a new line of waders for waterfowl hunters. The new Delta Wader Collection is, according to the company, a game-changer in performance hunting apparel.
The company will be giving the public a first look at the wader system at this year’s SHOT Show, ahead of their summer 2018 release.
The waders integrate insulated Lacrosse boots with a breathable 4-layer GORE-TEX®PRO laminate. They are thin, yet designed for both warm weather and cold weather conditions by allowing for added insulation layers without adding extra bulk.
The company indicates that the “head-to-toe, skin-to-shell” system are flexible and rugged enough to endure years of abuse in icy, brushy environments.
Ryan Bassham, Waterfowl Marketing Manager at SITKA Gear, said, “This is one of the most highly anticipated product launches in SITKA waterfowl history. The Delta Waders are the culmination of nearly five years of research, development, and testing. We designed the Delta Waders for ultimate durability and comfort during the warmer days chasing teal, to the icy conditions of the late season.”
The Delta Wader Collection is available in two camo options, Concealment Timber and Marsh. Extra long knee and shin pads cover the front leg area, and there are pockets for hand warming and water-resistant storage. The waders also boast a front zipper for easy access.
“Delta Waders went through years of covert iterations and testing so we could introduce them as the longest-lasting and most versatile waterfowl hunting waders on the market,” said Jim Saubier, SITKA’s waterfowl product manager.
The product is sure to be a hit with early and late season waterfowl hunters. The company also proudly declares that the Delta waders are made in the USA.
“We are excited to offer the SITKA Tribe a best-in-class waterfowl system,” said Bassham.
