When fishing the Snag Proof Wiggle Wog it is important to vary your retrieve until the bass clue you in at how they want it.  Start out with a steady, normal retrieve, if this doesn’t yield bites, or the bass are slapping at it, but not eating it, then you need to change things up.

Snag Proof Wiggle WogIf the water is warm and they are very active, you may need to speed up your retrieve to generate a reaction strike and not allow the bass to get a long look at your bait (especially if the water is clear).  Now if the the water is still on the cool side, or the bass need some coaxing into biting, or possibly positioned lower in the water column around the roots of lily pads, slow rolling the Wiggle Wog may generate a big bite when other baits fail.
