….. Chekai and Majnum Tungsten jigs, Pro Glow Slender Spoons and RPMs, and rigged them on my Frabill Straight-Line rod/reel combos. The ice may be coming back this week, so may get to try them out before the 40’s and more rain hits next week. We are certainly having an up and down ice season, so don’t take chances. Be very observant of the conditions, and stay safe.
All of my rigs have the new lures, except for one, which still has the dynamite stand by – a lime-glow Demon.
I’ll be giving a report on these new lures if and when the chance to try them comes around.
I’m sure the Slender Spoon and RPM will be great for bass and larger crappie. The spoon should also lure in some big gills, but not sure about the RPM.
